In early November, USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack and Ambassador Susan Rice, White House Domestic Policy Advisor, visited Wisconsin to announce the expansion of the Rural Partners Network (RPN) to 12 Wisconsin counties, including Ashland, Iron, and Price.
The Rural Partners Network is a first-of-its-kind collaboration between federal agencies and networks of local leaders and stakeholders working together to improve the community and economic well-being of rural areas.
USDA is now hiring RPN Community Liaisons to work on the ground with selected Community Networks in Wisconsin. Community Liaisons will help rural people clarify community improvement priorities, navigate federal programs, build relationships, and identify additional resources to promote locally driven solutions.
Complete applications must be submitted by December 12, 2022.
